Welcome!

You're writing a paper! This site has all kinds of sources to help you out. Click on your topic at the top, and you will find some websites, as well as books that we have in the Media Center. Use these sources as you write your paper. Remember to ask a librarian or your teacher if you need help!

How To Cite

At the end of your paper, you will need to list the sources you used. Many of the websites have a section that tells you how to cite them. For example, World Book Kids has a section at the bottom of the entry, called "How to Cite This Article." You want the one that looks like this:

MLA:

"California gold rush." World Book Kids. World Book, 2016. Web. 04 May. 2016.

Always choose MLA! If the website doesn't tell you how, just write down the website name you used. Like this: https://kids.usa.gov/.
